Eyes on God's Creation

We're doing a series of talks in the autumn addressing some controversial questions about the universe we live in.

  • Creation, the Universe and everything: Why do astronomers think the universe is billions of years old and how should Christians respond? (Thursday October 11)
  • Evolution and creation: are they enemies or friends? (Thursday October 25)
  • Creation, the world and us: should we care? (Thursday November 8) This talk will be given by Caroline Pomeroy, the director of Climate Stewards
  • Miracles: are they relics of a pre-scientific age? (Thursday November 22)

The vicar, Rich Tweedy, who originally trained in astronomy, will be giving three of the talks.

The talks will be in Shapwick Church, starting at 7.30. Tea, coffee and cakes will be available.
